Abhimukteeswarar, Kodaganallur, Tirunelveli
This small but beautiful, unique west-facing Siva temple in Kodaganallur, near one of the Nava Kailasam temples, is regarded as highly powerful, owing to it being a west-facing Siva temple. The village of Kodaganallur gets its name from the fact that Karkotaka, the snake, attained liberation here.
