Paadal Petra Sthalams are the 275 Siva temples that are revered in the Tevaram verses of the Nayanars, wher at least one of Sambandar, Appar and Sundarar have sung at least one full pathigam dedicated to the specific temple. There are many temples where only one of the three (Moovar) have sung, and a few where all three of them have sung pathigams.

These temples are classified by their region as below:
- 63 in Kaveri Vada Karai (North of the Kaveri river)
- 129 in Kaveri Then Karai (south of the Kaveri river)
- 32 in Tondai Nadu (northern Tamil Nadu and Kalahasti)
- 14 in Pandya Nadu (in and around modern day Madurai and its surroundings)
- 7 in Kongu Nadu (Western Tamil Nadu, ie in the Coimbatore and surrounding region)
- 22 in Nadu Naadu (central Tamil Nadu)
- 2 in Eezha Nadu (modern day Sri Lanka)
- 1 in Malai Nadu (Kerala)
- 1 in Tulu Nadu (Karnataka)
- 5 in Vada Nadu (north of Tondai Nadu, going up to Nepal)
