The Chandrasekharar temple, central to the village of Chandrasekharpuram, is where Chandran sought forgiveness and regained his position and mental strength. Devotees visit to alleviate Chandra dosham and fear of death, and seek career advancement. The temple’s diverse iconography includes rare depictions of deities and celestial beings.
